As the Payments Manager, your primary responsibility will be overseeing all aspects of payment operations and strategies within our company. This includes managing payment processing systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing payment processes for efficiency, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to streamline payment workflows and enhance the overall payment experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all payment processing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor payment trends and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot payment- related issues and implement solutions.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential fraud and security risks.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence in all payment processes.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, summarizing key performance metrics, trends, and insights.
• Monitor and analyze payment trends and metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with payment service providers to negotiate terms and ensure smooth transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in payments processing, financial operations, or related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in hiring, training, and developing high- performing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with payment processing software.
